Atlanta Sigma Shadows
About
A Legacy of Service and Support

Since 1946, the Sigma Shadows have stood as a beacon of support and service within the Atlanta community. Founded by 17 visionary women, the Sigma Shadows are the wives and widows of the distinguished men of Phi Beta Sigma's Lambda Sigma Chapter. Over the years, we have grown to encompass the wives of Phi Beta Sigma members from chapters across the metro Atlanta area, creating a broader network of service and support.

Our commitment began with small yet impactful gestures—like purchasing a red wagon for a child with disabilities—and has grown into a lasting legacy of philanthropy.
Mission
Our mission is to provide compassionate service to children, families, and communities in need, focusing on education, health, and charitable support. Through volunteerism, donations, and partnerships, we aim to make a positive and lasting difference in the lives of others, just as our founders did nearly eight decades ago.
Vision
Our mission and vision guide everything we do, from organizing local events to supporting schools and hospitals. Together, we continue to carry on the work of our founders, remaining dedicated to enriching the lives of those around us.
